Okay. Time for descriptions coooooooooooomes .... now.

SO, there be a story long in tha makin' over at ye old blow hole for fanfictions (aka Fanfiction.net). Arr it be a tale of dramatic proportions: deceptions, secrets, truths, all the makings of one of those soap operas ye land lubbers be all a gripe about. Arrrrrrrrrr. Why exactly I typed that like a pirate... I have no idea. So yeah. Trials of the Hero. it's a bitter sweet story for me. Because I know it's going to be SO good and yet it's the last. Hmm, lemme see if I can get the jist of it here.

Through the last few months, Darkwing Duck has discovered himself. Discovered that perhaps Drake Mallard IS more important than Darkwing. His new house is now a home due to his adopted daughter and his heart a new beat stronger with the love of his life on his arm. He has friends that would risk their lives for him, and for the first time in his life he has a family. But he's also learned how quickly one person would try to take all of that away from him. This man who calls himself "Lord Negaduck" has confessed to targeting him and placing everything he holds dear in the paths of villains the likes of which have never graced the city before. His resolve strengthened, his world collapsing, and his past resurfacing Darkwing has made one decision. It's time to end it. Unfortunately for him, his double has similar plans. But the link to both mallards, the bearer of their ultimate truth and fate is a woman with her sights set on one goal. Revenge.

I've tried and tried to illustrate some scenes from my fics and no matter how clear they are in my head they never come out the way I would like. So I tried my hand at one big group shot. As most of my drawings tend to do it started with Negs. I don't know why... I lied. I do know why, because drawing my Darkwing usually gives me a headache and I like to draw smoke. From there it exploded. And really, I'm pleased with most of it. (Launchpad and Hooter I think could use some work but I'm done messing with it.)

I guess I should do a role call? Let's start with the baddies... because I drew them first.

Center side: Quackerjack ( I love how he turned out)

Shadow: Moloculo Macabre
Fuzzy figure in the upper left hand corner: Sgt. Fuzz McSpoilerchan (Not really. If you know who it is cheers, if not then I am not telling you. )
Left top: Launchpad
Left center: Gosalyn
Bottom Left: Morgana ( ... but where's the surprise there? I love drawing this little chickadee. )
Center left (main) : Darkwing (he's got his right glove off... Don't go thinkin' I forgot to scribble in his hand. )

CENTER: .... Isabella. (who will make her grand appearance sooner than I orginally planned. Trust me when I say she makes quite an impression. Right DJ? )

Oh. Also Eek and Squeak.

Sheeeeeeeeeesh. 15 characters ( not counting the bats) on one sheet of paper that just goes to show you how "stimulating" my job is.

Pencil sketch on copy paper took about... two hours? I think. Three tops.

Asked if she could color it... so we'll see this one spiffy wif all the colors of tha rainbow eventually.
